Fairy Fail
Nicky FINALLY lost the tooth that has been hanging by a thread for at least a month now on the way to school yesterday. He put it under his pillow last night for the tooth fairy (naturally). Mind you, he asked me right before I left for vacation if I was the tooth fairy, to which I replied “the tooth fairy is who she is - go to sleep, Nicky”.
Well, this tooth fairy crashed very soon after Nicky went to bed…and totally forgot to do her job. Whoops.
Nicky was upset and annoyed at the fairy, but when he went upstairs to put his shoes on, he saw she had come and left two dollars under his pillow. We joked that she must have been running late or had a lot of teeth to collect last night.
